AFCAT 02/2026 Admit Card Out – Download Link, Exam Date and Instructions

The Indian Air Force has made the AFCAT 02/2026 Admit Card available for candidates appearing in the Air Force Common Admission Test. Applicants who successfully completed their registration can download the hall ticket by logging in to the official AFCAT candidate portal.

The AFCAT 02/2026 online examination will be conducted on 8 August 2026 for entry into the Flying Branch and Ground Duty Technical and Non-Technical branches. The courses for selected candidates are scheduled to begin in July 2027.

Candidates should download and print their admit card before the examination. Entry to the examination centre will not be allowed without a printed hall ticket and the required original identity documents.

The official AFCAT portal confirmed that the registration deadline was extended until 21 June 2026 at 11:59 PM. The detailed notification had originally mentioned 19 June as the closing date.

How to Download AFCAT 02/2026 Admit Card

Candidates can follow these steps to download their AFCAT hall ticket:

  1. Visit the official AFCAT candidate portal.

  2. Open the AFCAT 02/2026 candidate login section.

  3. Enter your registered user ID or email address.

  4. Enter your password and the security code displayed on the screen.

  5. Click on the login button.

  6. Open the Download Admit Card option from the dashboard.

  7. Check all the information printed on the admit card.

  8. Download the hall ticket in PDF format.

  9. Take a clear colour or black-and-white printout for the examination.

The Indian Air Force does not send a physical admit card by post. Candidates are responsible for downloading it from the official portal and carrying a printed copy to the examination centre.

The name and personal details printed on the hall ticket should match the candidate’s Class 10 certificate and original identity documents.

Candidates will not be permitted to enter the examination centre after the verification process begins at 9:30 AM. They should therefore reach the venue well before the reporting time.

Documents Required at the Examination Centre

Candidates must carry all the following items:

  1. Printed copy of the AFCAT 02/2026 e-Admit Card

  2. Original Aadhaar card

  3. One additional original photo identity document

  4. Two passport-size colour photographs

  5. Blue or black ballpoint pen

The additional identity document may be a:

  • PAN card

  • Passport

  • Driving licence

  • Voter ID card

  • Another valid photo identity document issued by a government authority

Photocopies of Aadhaar or the second identity document will not be accepted. The two passport-size photographs should be the same as the photograph uploaded during the application process.

Items Not Allowed Inside the Examination Hall

Candidates should not carry:

  • Smartwatches or electronic watches

  • Calculators

  • Bluetooth devices

  • Earphones or headphones

  • Cameras or recording devices

  • Books or handwritten notes

Possession of a prohibited electronic device may result in cancellation of candidature and debarment from future AFCAT examinations.

NCC Special Entry vacancies are not included as a fixed number. Under NCC Special Entry, seats are calculated as a percentage of CDSE and AFCAT vacancies according to the conditions mentioned in the notification.

Candidates applying through the AFCAT examination may have to complete the following stages:

Candidates applying through eligible NCC Special Entry or GATE Score Entry routes are exempted from the AFCAT written examination and may be shortlisted directly for AFSB testing according to the applicable rules.
